Ford Motor Company General Motors is updating its Lincoln Navigator to include a 48-inch head-up display that can be used as a “sanctuary” for spa lovers and gamers alike.
The new feature comes as the automaker redesigns the vehicle's exterior and interior for 2025 — and as Ford's luxury brand tries to differentiate the Navigator amid declining sales of large SUVs.
“The all-new Navigator is more than just a vehicle; it can become a home away from home and a third space that rejuvenates customers in a whole new way on and off the road,” said Diane Craig, president of Lincoln.
Safe Haven mode is part of the Lincoln Rejuvenate feature, which aims to create a calming environment for the driver. Once activated while the car is parked, the driver's seat automatically slides back, reclines, warms slightly and performs massage movements.

This mode also—in five- or 10-minute increments—changes the car’s climate, releasing refreshing scents and playing relaxing videos and sounds like a waterfall. Scent options include Mystic Forest, Sky Blue, and Cashmere Violet.
The car comes preloaded with a “Waterfall Meditation” experience in partnership with meditation and sleep app company Calm; two other themes — “Aurora Borealis” and “Elements” — are included with purchase.
“The Navigator is the flagship vehicle of the Lincoln brand and represents our ultimate expression of safe haven,” said Craig.
The large horizontal screen and refresh modes debuted on the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, but the Navigator's larger interior allowed for even more improvements.

If the driver prefers to use multimedia to relax rather than enjoy the spa experience, the front screen can be split to run video apps and games while the car is parked. Games currently include Asphalt Nitro 2, Angry Birds and Beach Buggy Racing 2.
The eight-passenger SUV will continue to be powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 making 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. It also comes standard with the BlueCruise advanced driver assistance system, which allows for hands-free driving on the highway.
Ford said the 2025 Navigator will start at less than $100,000, but more detailed pricing will be revealed closer to the car's launch date in spring 2025. Starting prices for current models range from $83,000 to more than $114,000.
The current average transaction price for a Navigator is more than $101,300, according to Lincoln.
Lincoln sales were up 23.4% year over year through July, however, Navigator sales were down about 21% during that period.
The new Navigator was unveiled with a fresh new look at Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California.
