Every weekday, the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a live “Morning Meeting” at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here's a recap of Friday's key moments. US stocks stabilized on Friday, after the Dow Jones index traded above 40,000 points for the first time. The Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 also hit record highs during the day Thursday, but fell at the close. It's a “silent market,” where “not much happens in any single place,” Jim Cramer said. But Jim said Club holding Nvidia's quarterly earnings on Wednesday could be the next catalyst. That's because investors often view the chipmaker as a leader in the buzzy AI business. DuPont de Nemours stock jumped more than 2% after Jefferies analysts upgraded the materials name to a buy rating from hold. The company also raised its price target on DuPont to $101 apiece from $78, an increase of more than 30% from Thursday's close. Analysts praised DuPont for its favorable end markets such as electronics, and forecast a recovery that could extend into 2026. We agree with this growth story. “If you have a stock you really like, you actually want it to go down,” Jim said, adding that the club would buy back at a lower level, hence his 2 rating on DD stock. “I want DuPont down.” We're awaiting Palo Alto Networks' earnings report on Monday. The club trimmed its position in the cybersecurity leader on Thursday following the stock's recent rise. We'd like to learn more from management about the company's platform strategy, which previously sent shares lower following the February quarterly print run. However, many Wall Street analysts have recently been very bullish on Palo Alto shares, citing increased deal activity and estimates that could be beaten.
